Demineralized Type 2 water is used for various laboratory applications that require high ionic purity. It is commonly used for preparing solutions and buffers, feeding clinical analyzers, and performing general chemistry tasks. While Type 2 water is not sterile, it is ideal for situations where maximum purity is not necessary but higher ionic quality than basic tap water is required.
Demineralized Type 2 water is used for a wide range of general laboratory work, including sample and standard dilution, preparation of buffers and dilute chemical reagents, and for preparing media to grow bacteria and other microorganisms.
