Reagent set for sequential determination of free ammonia and monochloramine by the indophenol method. The monochloramine test is used together with a free ammonia determination to help reduce raw material costs by preventing the over‑feeding of chlorine and ammonia during chloramination. The free ammonia indophenol method is specifically designed to measure free ammonia in the presence of monochloramine, enabling more reliable process control.
Monitoring the presence or absence of free ammonia provides the most reliable and sustainable indicator for effective chloramination control.

Hach Method 10200, 10201

Ranges: 0.04 - 4.50 mg/L Cl2 and 0.02 - 0.50 mg/L NH3-N.
